Sai Meng is the Editor-in-Chief on Shan Herald Agency of News (SHAN) based in Taunggyi, the capital city of Shan State, Myanmar. This local media published in three different languages: Shan, Burmese and English. In addition to its online news coverage, SHAN also publishes a monthly magazine and several radio programs.

Sai Meng started his career back in the early 2000 and took over as the Chief Editor in 2012. He has extensive experience reporting on conflict, military issues as well as human rights, people trafficking and migrant workers. In the past, Sai Meng also reported extensively from the Golden Triangle area between Myanmar, Thailand and China.
